Baron's ACT 16th Edition Questions!

Hi I'm pretty new to this website and I began studying for the ACT this month for September's test, and I purchased the a Baron's and McGraw Hill book and I find that the Baron's is much more difficult than McGraw. I took a practice test in each and in McGrawhill I got a 32 on the practice test and in Baron's I got a 26. Which book is more close to the ACT? And I heard that Baron's is more difficult and rigorous but it helps in the long run? Any advice on these books and which sections out of them are the best to study like English, Math, Reading, and Science. Also would you recommend the Real ACT? Thanks a lot all!

P.S. I lost hope because I am terrible at the SAT, but I'm pretty good at the ACT so any other tips would be highly appreciated :)

You should look into the official red book: [Amazon.com: The Real ACT Prep Guide: The Only Guide to Include 3Real ACT Tests (9780768926750): ACTOrg: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Real-ACT-Prep-Guide-Include/dp/0768926750)
It’s by the ACT itself and includes previously-administered exams. How you do on them is pretty much the best representation of how you’ll do on the real exam.
