I was offered a full scholarship for Barrett at ASU, and I am trying to decide whether or not to attend. I also received a scholarship for the Honors College at UA, but as of right now, I am leaning towards Barrett. Can anyone tell me the major differences between the two programs, what these colleges are like, which one I should choose, if I shouldn't bother with either of the schools, etc.? Any and all information you have is appreciated; I'm just trying to get a feel for both schools. Thanks

Also, I am thinking about going into medical school, so which of these schools would be the best for me?

Are there college GPA minimums to maintain the scholarships?

3.0 is not likely to be that big a deal, but 3.5 would likely require careful GPA management, similar to what pre-med and pre-law students have to do. So if the school would not be affordable on need-based aid alone if you lost the scholarship, consider this very carefully.

For med school, see the sticky thread on the PreMed Topics forum about choosing an UG college.

Barrett doesn’t have a required GPA maintenance, but you need a certain GPA to graduate:

Although not super recent, this thread does the comparison/contrast between the two honors programs
