Should I study the Barron flashcard vocab or direct hit or should I study both? And how do I increase my Cr score since it's only 450 :((

If you have the money buy both if not I prefer Barrons

thanks you! That’s what I’m studying right now but I’m kind of confused since many people on cc advise for the direct hit

Yeah I was able to improve my score from 660 to 720 using Barrons so I am very happy with them of course

I would advise direct hits, but before that, read the pinned topics in the SAT prep section. Also, noitaraprep’s SAT CR strategy (<a href=“Noitaraperp's Critical Reading Method: How to Attack the SAT Critical Reading Section Effectively”>http://criticalreadingmethod.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-attack-sat-critical-reading.html) is great for boosting your score.

It is all personal preference, try both if you can, I preferred Barron’s, and I actually saw a good amount of the words I saw on Barron’s on the actual SAT so I was very happy with it.

Maybe after I finish the Barron SAT I will buy the direct hits. Thanks you! And by the way, how hard is it for me to achieve the Cr score of 600 since I got very low score?

Improving vocab will help you a lot but if you really want to get to 600 on CR I would recommend practicing passage based reading more than vocab

thanks you! I’m doing both of them
