hey i have the Barrons How to prepare for the SAT 2007-2008 23rd edition book. Is that good?? What exactly is it good for cuz this book is ginormous and i dont wanna go through all of it.

Barrons, in general, proves to be much more difficult than the actual test. I used Barrons to prepare for the SATs and got pretty frustrated becuase Barrons looks at very specific types of questions. However, on test day, the test seemed much easier and less intimidating.

My friend used Barrons and got a 2380 but she did over a year of intensive prep so it's hard to say whether it was the book or just the sheer amount of time she spent prepping...

In general though, Barrons over prepares for all of the SATs. The over preparation does, as niubie said, make the real test less intimidating...

hmm so i should use it??

You have it, so, why not use it? It's good :D, I think :)

yeah, I would use it , but just remind yourself that the actual test will be easier. good luck!

thanks a lot
