barrons 23rd edition

I found the critical reading of the 6 tests in the barrons preparing for the sat 23rd edition to be strangely easy. I have never gotten 2 wrong (both vocab) on a practice test in critical reading before.

bummmmmmmp

Barron’s and Kaplan are generally inaccurate indicators of your performance on the REAL SAT. What you should do is take the BB which has real SAT questions from College Board and attempt those. If the questions are still easy, so be it.

Although…I’m not quite sure what you’re asking/saying with your thread.

wow, we’re like twins cc3c. I also thought the CR on barron’s was strangely easy. I never got more than 2-3 wrong TOTAL per practice test. However, when I took the real test I only scored a 620 in CR.

i got a 780 last time i took it. i want an 800 so when people said barrons was harder, i assumed it would help boost it to perfection. lol, though i get about 4 wrong on the CB practice tests

(silly question, i know) 23rd edition - which year is it?

Barron’s CR is relatively easy. SC’s are much easier than the real thing, and the reading is a tad easier. I don’t think I ever missed a question on CR in Barron’s. Math, on the other hand…:D

year 2007. hmm what exactly would be harder than the real thing? I tried the 11 tests in PR but i never got one wrong…

If you’re getting them all right, you don’t need any more practice. Just chill out.

23rd edition - year 2008

I haven’t tried on this book yet so is this edition totally different from the previous ones? Barron is often said to be the toughest, so surprised to see its CR questions peculiarly easy…

@lolilaughed: DO u mean the BLUE BOOK when u said this " …What you should do is take the BB which has real SAT questions from College Board …"

Yes, I mean the College Board Blue Book Official Study Guide.
