Barrons 2400

ok, I am planning on taking the Sat again in October...

I really badly want a 2250+ score (2300 or over would be desirable!!!!)

my summer plan is as follows:

every saturday (except for the three where i am at a pre-college program) i will l take a practice test from the bluebook, or PR 11

Learn every word on Sparknotes 2000+ vocab list

and study, study, study

I wanted to get a prepbook to help me with all three sections (i am pretty even at all... However, CR is my worst)

has anyone here ever used Barrons 2400??? Would you reccomend it?

damn kid...you need a life

I second that motion

how good is Barrons 2400?

How is McGraw Hill for someone who scored:

CR 380
M 720
W 560 (MC 53 Essay 9)?

Is it decent for CR and Writing? I need the most help in these sections.

That's pretty bad...380? Ouch

practice, practice, practice

so does anyone knwo hwo good barrons 2400 is >>????

What should I practice with? I need atleast 450 by October.

I have McGraw Hill
I think it's reallly good for reading if you follow their advice and learn all the vocab lessons...

barron's 2400 is good for writing and math

why not CR? curious because CR is my worst...

i have my own technique for CR and they taught a couple different ones that i didn't like. I felt that they really didn't provide any usefull hints on reading passages, but for sentence completion, i guess they helped

darn...I need reading techniques, not sentence completion

hey killer Ive seen you on here for a while and your CR score has like remained the same over this whole time. Dude you should spend more time reading, practicing, or something instead of planing on how to get better on this site lol. haha but its cool you have plenty of time but learn how to read and understand what your reading cause I dont understand how you could score that low cause you seem smart in everything else

They have books(the ones with stories) especially made for the SAT to help with vocab. It might be for CR too, I'm not sure. Check sparknotes.com for them.

Just get the blue book and do a test everyday... You will improve guaranteed. And mabye use Rocket Review for strategies
