Barron's 3500?

hey everyone. I was just wondering that once I memorize the barron's 3500 vocab list will I be basically 99 percent done with vocab? I started soph year and now its junior year, I kinda did 20 words a day the first time but then I procrastinated and what not and now i'll basically be done with it in 10 days, I have around 400 to go but now that ive memorized 3100 memorizing vocab has become very easy for me.

And obviously after I memorize I will review the vocab everyday. That being said, can I finally stop the monotonous vocab memorizing? and will I be well prepared for the CR section? thanks! :)

uhh ( bump ) ? lol

No. You have to memorize 10,000 more. And an additional 5,000 to get your vocab really up to scale with high-scorers.

But seriously, yes.

yes i agree with tomatox1

you MUST memorize 10,000 or you will be doomed.

most kids memorize over 5000, sorry buddy it looks like you’re at a great disadvantage.

Holy crap better get to it!

Anything beyond 1,000 vocab words is overkill. There won’t even be 100 different vocab words on the SAT Critical Reading.

well right now its only 300 atm, its really not a big deal with me since i had alot of time. Although i agree for short time Barrons 3500 isnt the right choice.

I would highly recommend Direct Hits Volumes I and II over Barron’s 3500, which is basically just recycled GRE vocabulary.
