It seems the Barron's ACT prep book has a bad rep on this forum for being harder than the actual test. I've done the Barron's ACT 36 and most of the practice tests from Barron's 6 ACT Tests. I've been missing about 2-4 on each section. Of course no one can give an accurate probability, but do you think this is a good indication that I could make a 36 on this Saturday's ACT since the Barron's is the hardest prep material for the ACT?

You’re doing great on Barrons which means you’re well prepared. While I know you’ll do very well, one can never be sure about the 36 since the “feel” of the Barrons and the actual ACT is different. You definitely have potential to though. If you can, I’d take a Red Book practice test just to get used to the actual ACT “way of talking.”

Good luck!!!

Thanks for your reply!
I’m going to finish the Barron’s practice tests, and then take an ACT issued practice test (one of those online packets for the year 2007-2008) so that way I don’t have to buy the Red Book (haha). That way I’ll still get the feel of the real ACT
Great advice!
