Barron's AP Bio vs. Barron's SAT II Bio

I recently took the AP Biology exam and studied with the Barron's AP Bio review book. I'm going to take the SAT II Biology this Saturday, and I'm not sure if studying out of the AP book is going to be a good method.

I already took the AP Biology course and feel fairly confident about how i did on the AP exam, so I think all I need is a refresher.

Do the material in the two books differ greatly?

Not that much, but you definitely don’t need to know all the little details needed for AP. Like the AP prep book goes rather in-depth into muscles and sarcomeres and how the calcium ions stimulate them, but only the 3 types of muscles + sliding filament theory are mentioned briefly in the SAT book. I would just go over some topics that you didn’t feel very confident on in the past, and you should be fine.
