Hi,
I had a question about Barrons AP Calc book. I am taking the Calc AB exam this year and I was wondering whether the Barrons book was harder than the actual exam. My friend told me it seemed harder to him but I wasn't sure if that was just him or if that is how many people felt? I am planning to buy a book for AP Calc and should I buy Barrons, PR, or Petersons?

I think most people generally agree that Barron’s is harder than the AP exam. Which might be the reason why so many calculus teachers recommend it buying it early on. My summer pre-calc teacher strongly suggested that we buy Barron’s before starting calculus, and my current calculus teacher requires it.

With the limited amount of time left, you may be better off with PR or Peterson’s. Both have good reviews on Amazon.
