Barron's AP Prep vs. Princeton Review vs. Others?

For AP Human Geography and AP World History, I used Barron's AP prep books to review for a month and a half before the exam. I made 4's on both exams, which is good enough for me. Thinking that Barron's just makes a series of perfectly crafted AP prep books, I immediately purchased the books for APUSH, AP Bio, and AP English Lang. The latter two books are great--however, I recently checked out the APUSH book. To be quite light and gentle... it's a Godawful review book. There's hardly ANY reviewing in it, just a summary of different types of questions!

I've heard great things about other books other than Barron's for AP review, such as Princeton Review. Can anyone vouch for the best overall series of AP prep books?

Moreover, what are the best prep books for high scores (5's!!) on APUSH, AP English Lang, and AP Bio?

I’ve used Princeton Review for AP World last year and am currently using it for AP Euro and AP Chemistry. Overall I think the book is very good - there’s two practice tests in addition to other practice questions throughout the book, and it works as a good supplement to my class.

Not sure about your question, but bear in mind that AP Biology is changing for the 2012-2013 school year, so if you’re taking the exam next year and not in a month or so, you’ll want to hold off on buying a review book for that.
