Hey guys, I guess you all are aware of barron's tendency of overpreping students by asking significantly harder questions and providing insane practice tests. And I was wondering if this pattern applies to the their book for AP Psych. How are the practice tests compared to other prep book's? Is
is similar to the actual exam? thanks in advance for your responses! :)

EDIT- Oh yeah, and Im self-studying for the exam using only the Barron's book. What else should I do in addition to this? (But there are only 2 days left... :p)

Barron's seems to be "just right" in areas, and fundamentally lacking in others (but you have a textbook for that). Utilize both to your advantage to know 100% of the material. The research methods section is TOO indepth for psychology, beleive me, I'm in a social science research class and we covered all that because we had too--stuff like that will never appear on the exam (but double blind, random, etc. will!).

Newyorker, I disagree, double blind and random sampling come up on almost every exam, more often the FR than the MC, but they're pretty common. I think that Barron's is pretty on track and I know that my teacher was pretty impressed with it, but some info is definitely lacking. And I don't think that Barron's trend of overprepping applies here. Most of the question are pretty manageable. Caesar55, you should have a pretty good idea of the test with the exam I sent you, but perusing a textbook might be a nice idea. I wouldn't recommend cramming, but skimming the book for info you may have missed is a good idea. If you don't have a textbook, I would recommend the book by either David G. Myers or Dennis Coon. Of course, don't purchase one of these if you haven't already, but it might help you to identify spots that Barron's doesn't cover comprehensively. In the meanwhile, I'll look through Barron's myself to see if I notice any particularly weak areas. Good luck tomorrow!

What about Kaplan?

thanks guys. I guess I'll be one of the first ones to take the exam, so I'll update you guys with new information all the way from Japan~. ooooo test is in 6 hours.
