BARRONS AP Psycholgy self-study!

So I purchased the book last week and I have read a decent portion of it. But now I am wondering if just reading it is good enough for getting a 5 on the final.

SECONDLY AP Psychology is not offered at my school and I still need to register and pay for the exam. How do I do this? Do I talk to my counselor? And where would I take the test?

Thank you!

Wouldn't you just sign up for it at the same time you sign up for the rest? At my school we just sign up for them all at the same time.

Anyways, you'll be fine to self-study. I did last year with virtually no prep (didn't even read a prep book) and got a 4. [I was going to study but lost March, April, and part of May to mono]. Memorize definitions and you'll be fine.

I self-studied AP Psych too. I used the Princeton Review guide, and nothing else, and got a 5. I don't know about Barron's, but it is probably similar.

You would register for the exam when everyone else registers for other exams. Even though your school doesn't offer it, it is still an option.

So do I sign up with my counselor? You see, I actually don't sign up for my AP's. My school does it for me. I only register for my classes.

Oh... then yes go to your counselor.

Do you get them paid for too?

I go to a private school so the 100 dollars for the AP final is tacked on to my tuition.
