Barron's AP World History Flash Cards?

Has anyone here used these in the past and can tell me how effective they were for you? I'm in a situation where I haven't really done much this year (if anything) in class, so I need to crack the whip and get studying, and flash cards are the most effective thing for me.

Now, my multiple choice is miserable, since I've hardly learned anything... maybe 20/25% on that section? However, when I study flashcards, I absorb information rather quickly, so do you think the flashcards and maybe a couple more practice tests would suffice for me to get enough MC right in order to get a 4 or even a 5?

My essays, on the other hand, are generally strong, and I usually make 8's and 9's in my class on these essays using the few facts that I do know/very general trends, and my teacher considers himself a hard grader as well, so I'm not worried about those too much.

Those who have used these in the past, do you think they'll be enough to give me potentially a 5 on this exam, if I study them thoroughly? Or are there certain other critical things that they neglect to cover?

Thanks!

i never owned the flashcards, but my friends had them. From what I can tell, it gives you really detailed information, WAY more than you need for the exams.

I have both a Barron's and PR book for World History and Barron's is more in depth stuff while PR is general review (I'm assuming the flashcards for Barron's are generally like the books here). Maybe since you haven't really learned as much as you wanted this year, you would need that extra information in order to help with your MC portion...I know that you have to do pretty well on MC AND essays to get above a 3. I, however, would recommend PR. It's a very easy read and gives you the general gist of everything going on.

I like the flashcards a lot, it's organized in a way that makes it easier to target where you're weak (it comes in chronological order but then is split into groups like conflicts, technology, etc.). Those coupled with the PR book is the best study guide in my opinion.
