I'm preparing for the SAT that is being administered this Saturday. I am focusing on my critical reading score. I am using Barrons How to prepare for the New SAT (22nd edition) and Barrons Critical Reading workbook. I find the work inside very difficult, especially the reading passages. Are these books as hard as the actual SAT? Im really frustrated...

I find Barrons CR workbook is a little bit easier. Sorry.

I mean the "How to prepare for the new SAT"...

the barrons workbook got me a 620 from a 550 after taking 2 prac tests...i think its a great book

the barron's critical reading workbook IS hard... there's four levels of difficulty and tons of practice so it can only help make the real test seem really easy

I also have the Math and Writing workbook from Barrons... are these also more difficult than the actual SAT?

The Barron's stuff is always harder than the real thing. I know that for sure.
P.S. The 23rd edition is exactly the same as the 22nd (even the tests are identical).
