Is Barrons any good for APES studying?
I just did the mock for it...is the mock relevent to the actual exam at all?

bumpbumpbump

Barron's, at least in my point of view, is horrible. It is filled with unnecessary information and only covers about 45% of the test content. For example, I studied the Barron's book front and back and then took the Environmental Science Exam 2007 Audit that our teacher gave, and I got a 64/100. I am now studying solely from the textbook which covers about 85% of the information. It is important to recognize that no textbook will be able to cover 100% of the material because Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary science. Therefore, I do not recommend Barron's at all. Moreover, their practice tests, which claim to be representative of the actual exam, are in fact, nothing like the actual exam. I have taken two previously released Collegeboard tests and the differences between the Collegeboard exams and the Barron's exams was huge.

I recommend a Smartypants and REA combination.

Modern European History is awesome!

Amazon.com: Modern European History: Birdsall S. Viault: Books

dude yeah Barron's has TOO much info...or they did. I think they're better now tho! Or try PR--its probably the best

wel itz sorta late to buy these prep books tho..eh?
i'll probabily just go over my tests =[
