barron's math II...things we don't really need to know?

do we need to know...
polar coordinates with complex numbers
independent events
the formula for the latus rectum for conic sections
??

do not need to know:
de moivre's theorem
latus rectum blah blah blah

however, you do need to know complex #'s and polars i think

use an accompanying princeton review with barrons. thats what i did

You do need to know polar coordinates of complex numbers for sure - I had a question about it on my last Math II.

Independent I would know as well, since it's so easy.

you should buy the official IIC guide... just shows you how much useless bs is in Barron's
