Hey
I was wondering, which is better? Barron's better or Kaplan? or should I just stick to the bluebook.

if you look around the SAT section, there should be plenty of opinions. The Blue Book is a must-have, though.

For any prep book, I think Barron's is better. It gives a good review of topics, and the practice tests are harder. That may sound like a disadvantage, but its like putting weights on a bat before you swing at the ball. You'll be better prepared if you can do well on its practice tests.

Plus Barron's look better.

When it comes to SAT II's Barrons is usually the best and PR is sometimes tied. As the above post said, Barrons tends to have a TON of information. For the SAT the best book to buy is the one through the college board.

Personally, I don't like Kaplan at all.

What's a "blue-book"?

Official College Board SAT prep. book.

I like Kaplan, but apparently thats just me. I've use both, and though Kaplan sometimes seems like a 'cop out' especially on their ideas on the math questions, the tricks are sometimes useful. I think you should go look at them at a bookstore and make your decision based on which book you like. As far as practice tests go, however, I thought they both used past real tests. I guess not.
