<p>Personally I think Barrons does over-prep you quite a bit but i think it is both good and bad for several reasons..</p>

Makes the real ACT seem easier
Covers more math than you need
VERY difficult reading passages…makes it a breeze on the real ACT</p>

Discourages you.. ( I got like 22-24s on them and got a 29 on the Sept. ACT)
Irrelevant math topics</p>
<p>But overall if you are running out of books i would choose Barron’s..if not then buy (in this order)</p>
<p>Real ACT (red book), Princenton Review (Cracking the ACT) and Kaplan</p>
