I am getting around 2360 on Barron's SAT practice test. Is Barron's reliable?

Congratulations on your score!

While nothing is as accurate as the Official Collage Board Blue Book, if you are scoring in this range you should have nothing to worry about.

I personally find that Barron’s is generally “technically” harder than the Blue Book, while the Blue Book has more “tricks” that require logical thinking and more attention to detail.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much.

If you scored a 2360 on Barron’s, you’re doing REALLY WELL! From my experience, the Barron’s tests are definitely harder, especially the writing sections.
When I was prepping for the official SAT, I combed through the Barron’s book and mainly took the writing section tests. I found that I somehow always missed around 3 grammar questions. Then I switched to the Blue official book. The writing section seemed like a piece of cake in comparison. For the real test (in January), I made a perfect score on the writing section and had almost 8- 10 minutes to spare after finishing the writing section.
If you want 2400, Barron’s is definitely the way to go. :D
