Which is the better book?
I bought the former, but I've heard more about the latter (2400) here on CC.
(I already have RR and the blue book.)

Barrons 2400 is a very good book for strategies for people who score 2000+.

If your scores are more or less average, then use the preparing for the SAT. DON'T DO THE PRACTICE TESTS IN THE BOOK, they are inaccurate and full of typos.

Well I haven't taken the SAT yet, but I got a 201 on PSAT (don't know if that really matters).
Maybe I will go exchange Preparing for 2400.

Are there any other big differences between the two?

Which would you recommend for someone who expects to get around 1850 the first time with no prep? I want to increase my math score to ~750+ and get my CR and writing close to 700.

Would the Aiming for 2400 book be a good pair with the blue book?

Barron's how to prepare defintely (to answer your question) then you could get hte other one.. Barrons 2400 is really hard questions so get that when you think you can get 2100 easy
