I have started a new strategy today (I am taking the ACT in April). Review material in the Princeton Review, do those questions, and then try the strategies with Barron's questions. I just did English in the PR book, and got 9/10 right. Then on Barron's, I got 6/10 right. I always new Barron's was hard, but are they really this disproportionately hard?

NOTE: This is not practice tests. These are those questions they put after each topic.

Yes, Barron’s is known for being quite a bit harder than the real deal. I have their AP Computer Science A book. Barron’s philosophy is to over-prepare you for nearly every tough concept that could possibly come up on the test.
