Hi guys, I have a few questions...
i have been studying from barron's sat 2 math 2 book, and barrons sat 2 literature book. here are my scores on a practice test from each,

math 2: 670
literature 690

are these any good? I have heard that barrons is significantly harder than the real thing, but I am aiming for 740+

also, i took a math 2 sat 2 practice test in the college board book and got a 780. regular?

Dunno about lit but 670 math II barron's and 780 CB is an expected correlation. Most people manage to score ~100 points higher on the actual test than on Barron's practice tests.

thanks, thats good i was really scared. also, in barron's sat 2 math book are conics, matrices, and parametric functions ever on the actual test?

For conics, you can definitely expect a question or two on circles. A basic question on ellipses might appear. Rarely will there be hyperbolas but if you're going for the 800 I would just learn it all.

Matrices -- understand the rules of matrix multiplication. Usually if there is a matrix question, you'll have to understand matrix multiplication.

Parametrics -- I dunno. It's easy though. Just understand what a parametric function is and how it works and that should be all you need to know for any parametric question they might throw at you.
