How do the practice tests in Barron's for the Chem subject test compare to the real things? I didn't too well on mine - I thought it was rather difficult.... I want to get an 800 on test day.

From what I’ve heard, the tests in the Barron’s book for Chem are much harder than the actual SAT Subject Tests.

So… if you can pull off an 800 using Barron’s self-made scale (75/85 raw still a solid 800. does this reflect the actual subject test scale?), then I wouldn’t have any doubt of your abilities to get an 800 on the real thing.

Plus, I’ve heard stories of people getting low 700s on Barrons/PR tests but still end up getting an 800 on the real thing. Don’t stress, just keep on swimming!
