How accurate is this? I guess it's fairly accurate...
I get around 6~9 wrong on MC. If I get 8 on essay, what'd this come out to be?
How do you recommend I study for MC? (I look at what I got wrong, but I always miss 6~9..... I also know grammar pretty well.. )

well, i used barrons. thought it was extremely easy. went to take the sat 2 writing for the first time november, thought it was WAY harder than any of the practice tests.

This doesn't really answer your question, but I used Barrons, Kaplan, and Sparknotes. I found that the only accurate practice tests were the Sparknotes tests, which you can find online.

ok, so that discouraged me....
but thanks anyways.

I would get the PR one instead. It's awesome.

i used barron's mostly and then a little bit of sparknotes and got an 800. and in regards to sparknotes practice tests, they're pretty accurate b/c they basically steal their ?'s from the real thing. If u look at the REAL SAT IIs book and take the writing test from there, u can tell the ?'s in sparknotes are modeled directly off that test, including the paragraphs and stuff, lol...

yah, but Sparknotes works, and that's the point - raised one of my scores by 100pts!

Barrons is generally quite good, but for Writing (and Literature) I found the real test unusually hard - which Barrons is supposed to prepare you for...?

guys let me tell you what the most accurate and best book is::: its Princeton review. I got the sanem score as i did a on all the tests. believe me

It's a matter of personal preference. Sparknotes also projected all of my scores perfectly.

Yup my vote's with Princeton Review. It covers some pretty essential stuff, helped me tons with Writing.
