Barron's SAT Physics vs. Real test

Hi CC,

I’ve recently done the 2 Princeton review tests and 2 Barron’s tests for Physics.

I found the 2 PR tests much more difficult than the Barron’s, even though people generally say Barron’s is much harder than the real test and PR is closer.

It could be that I simply improved, since I did PR first then moved on to Barron’s, or because I used Barron’s for theory and so the questions line up more with it.

I got 770 in both PR’s and 800s in both Barron’s (62 and 66 raw score respectively for Barron’s, so decently ‘high 800s’)

Do you think I’m safe to get an 800 for the real test given these scores, or are the Barron’s actually just easier than the real thing/PR and that my scores aren’t really an accurate measure?

Thanks!

I took the real SAT Physics test after scoring multiple 800s in Kaplan and Barron’s and came out with a 790. I felt like some of the topics that were emphasized in Barron’s didn’t show up that much on the real thing and vice versa.
