Started reviewing their english sections and the drills they have are nothing like the examples they give in the review. I made a 25 on the diagnostic exam in english on Barron's and I generally make 30s and 31s on other tests like Real ACT, PR, and Kaplan's.

Has anyone ever made a 30+ on a Barron's test here? It seems damn near impossible. This stuff is hard.

Oh and will reviewing Barron's help to get my english up to a 34+? I can't seem to shake the random 5-6 questions that get me on english every test.

DO NOT USE BARRON'S. You will be much better off using Princeton Review and the Real ACT book. Barron's has a lot of errors and is much more difficult than the real thing.

Well, I just took half of the Barron's diagnostic test. I'm just wondering, how are you figuring out your scale scores, since the book doesn't have any charts to do that? Are you just using the charts from the red book, or something?

Comparing it to those, my Barron's English was 27 and Math was 30, while my red book's English was about 33 and Math was about 34. Haven't taken Reading and Science in Barron's yet though.

Yeah I have been using the scale scores from the Red Book. I had a 26 and a 23 on 2 math tests I took in the Barron's book. I made a 34 and a 32 on 2 Math Real ACT Tests

Barron's is very VERY hard. It doesn't necessarily mean it's bad though. Some questions are irrelevant and there are rrors and such, but it makes the real ACT seem really easy in my opinion, just don't put too much stock in the scores out of that book. I'd still advise working through it. ^^

Wow, I'm even worse. I got an 18 (*sad face) on the Barron's diagnostic, but a 25 and 26 on the Sparknotes tests. But I don't find the Barron's review questions to be that hard, just the practice exams.
