which one should i use, the barrons 3500 or the kaplans 3000

yea im wondering the same thing.

if have a lot of time. go with barrons. they are more reputed. and it's their 22nd edition now i believe?

i rather suggest you guys to get barrons1100 or something more reasonable. i guarantee you that unless you spend like hundreds of hours, it'll be hard to remember even half of the barrons 3500.

read a couple good books and whenever you don't know a word, write it down on a notecard of something.

lol i can't afford any more money to get books. i'm seriously broke hahaha. i guess i'll have to go with whichever one i have heh.

barrons. if u r takin the jan. test, lets work together........

barron's has accurate words and words used in the tests. but kaplan doesn't. For example, many prac. tests from 10 reals had the word "wane". barron's has that word but kaplan's doesnt. so barron's better with short, consice, definations.

i liked kaplan... but arco's the best 'cause kaplan sometimes have words you'd never ever see on the SAT.

if you go to the old CC forum Xiggi posted a list of around 4000 words from different books. Check that out.

What's the link for the old CC?
