<p>The SAT is scaring me, so i decided to take some Barrons writing sections. I have many questions but my main concern is the conversion. What is a -10 wrong (crap i think this is a double negative) on the MCQ compared to on the actual test?</p>
<p>I'd say add about a hundred points from the lower end of the scale in Barrons.</p>
<p>I've been scoring in the 650-750 range in Barrons but I just took the practice test in the 2006-2007 SAT prep booklet (which is a released SAT) and scored 780 in Writing.</p>
<p>I usually miss about 4-6 in Barron's writing, so your -10 should be around a 730.</p>
