Hello,
I applied to Baruch as a transfer student and was denied. I went to community college and did poorly before I joined the military in 2009. I was discharged in 2013 and am now in school. My gpa at my current school
Is 3.9 with over 50 credits. If anybody could tell me how to appeal, and who I should send the letter to, I would greatly appreciate it.
I feel your pain as I am going through something similar.
You have to file an appeal directly with the school as defined below:
“An appeal is a 1 page letter which indicates that you would like to be reconsidered for admission to Baruch, and explains the reasons why you should be reconsidered. If you have new academic information (e.g. a new semester of grades, new SAT/ACT scores), please include copies of it with your appeal.”
I included n unofficial copy of my transcript.
Appeals are submitted by mail to:
Baruch College Appeals Committee
One Bernard Baruch Way, Box H-0720
New York, NY 10010
Hope this helps. I’m still awaiting an answer.
Good Luck
@Gemini11 Hello, were you able to receive acceptance? I’ve been denied by Baruch 2x and am waiting for my fall 2016 answer, if I don’t get accepted I am thinking about appealing.
