I’m sorry but what exactly is your definition of “immaturity” because seeing as how Baruch has not only a very diverse student body ethically we have a very diverse student body age wise. On another note, colleges where students drink, party, and the like everyday, how is that mature again?

Point is there is no way to measure “maturity” levels and what not so that cannot be used as a valid argument.

CUNYS are very much a case of “you get what you pay for.” sure, baruch is good for the price, but is it going to compare to a top 20 in terms of student body, access to opportunities, employment opportunities, etc? No. Don’t bash the OP for wanting something better. and people mainly transfer to a cuny from top tier school because they can no longer afford their current institution. one of my friends has to transfer to hunter from cornell; i have never seen her so upset.

and honestly, conversations with ~90% of students at my CUNY takes me back to middle school(the exception are the postbaccs from top 10 schools/high school classmates). the only good thing i have to say about cuny, from my experience, is that it made me realize how awesome my high school years were.
