Baruch College, Transfer applicant

<p>I was hoping to learn more about my chance getting dinto Baruch as a transfer applicant. I am entering my 3rd semester at bergen community college in nj, where I have a 3.1 GPA while working full time at radioshack. </p>

<p>I received a 740 mth, 710 cr, and 670 wrt on my SATs, 2120 total, and i graduated my hs in the top 10% of my class w/ a 3.7 unweighted GPA. I also was a national Honor society member and the cofounder/president of my hs's usfirst first tech challenge team.</p>

<p>I don’t think Baruch will look at your H.S transcript if you have more than 25 college credits. 3.1 is rather low for Baruch. Try to bring your GPA up to at least 3.3-3.5 before you apply for transfer. Also it’s much more helpful if you get your AS before transferring (that way you’re deemed to have completed all their general ed requirement). Good luck.</p>
