Baruch or Buffalo?

I'm international student, applying for transfer to UB this fall. I'm interested to UB because they have well known business program (I'm business major) and I think, Buffalo is better than Binghamton, city wise. There are also a lot of international students at Buffalo.

Can anyone give me some other informations about UB or the city of Buffalo? Is it safe there? Is it really cold up there (I live in CT right now)? Is UB one of the party school? How about the college life there?

I've been admitted to CUNY Baruch in NYC. Which one do you think it better for business major & which one has more job opportunitites? I'm leaning towards UB because of the college life. I don't like to commute every day to campus and I want to experience dorm life. But, I guess NYC will give me more opportunities for internship in big companies. And, it's in NYC. Where should I go?

any suggestions welcome! THX

PS: I have also posted this thread in SUNY-General section (I didn't see SUNY Buffalo earlier)

I have another questions..

I applied to UB online 2 days ago and sent all the documents yesterday. I know, it's kinda late.. Do you get confirmation email directly from UB? I got confirmation email from SUNY application ceter, but haven't heard anything from UB. I've tried to emailed them couple times, but haven't got replied. Should I just wait?

Any transfer students still waiting for the decision?

Lydia best thing is to call admissions.

check Businessweek Top MBA Programs & Business School Rankings BusinessWeek and see what you now think of UB. Binghamton is a lot better.
