Hi,
I am majoring in Accounting at Baruch. Currently I have more than 80 credits and just began to take accounting classes. I have eight more courses left (5 accounting) to graduate after completing four courses on spring 2013. I had applied to St. John's before and they are still offering me generous scholarship. I won't have to pay much at St. John's University and money is not a factor.
I just do not like Baruch's Accounting Department's harsh grading policy (top 20% gets A & A-) and it puts students at disadvantage. Students majoring in Accounting at Baruch are very serious because it is almost self-thought. I love studying accounting as a subject but at Baruch with the grading system it seems like I am a pressure cooker.

I know Baruch has good reputation for Accounting and strong alumni support.
I do not know much about the St. John's reputation for Accounting program.
Do they have GOOD RECRUITING SYSTEM and ALUMNI SUPPORT?
Do you think transferring to St. John's will be good idea?
