Baruch (Zicklin) vs Temple (Fox) accounting?

Between Zicklin (Baruch) in NYC and Fox (Temple) in Philadelphia, which has better accounting program?

If I graduate Baruch with bachelor in accounting, will I be able to move to Philly and find job right away? Or it is betetr to transfer to Temple, graduate, and find job easily because Temple is local school.

MY GOAL IS TO MOVE TO PHILADELPHIA ANYWAY.

I am currently in Baruch, but want to transfer to Temple.

You don’t have to create a new thread for each new question you have. 3 threads in a few hours is already far too many.

I think you should finish your bachelors at Baruch and then transfer to Temple to get a masters. You will definitely lose some credits if you transfer because it is always happens, even if you transfer from one CUNY school to another.

dfree124, I would write all my questions in one thread, but when people open up thread and there is a long “essay” of questions, most just ignore it. BUT ANYWAY THANK YOU, AND SORRY IF WHAT I DID ANNOYED YOU! =)

Toshtemirov, my only cons against Baruch are: - I cant double major I cant even minor, the only minors I HAVE TO DO are liberal arts, I feel like those 3 classes can be used in more useful things at Temple. Also, Baruch required to take 2 semesters of Foreign Language, what I really hate.

AND FINALLY, CALCULUS CLASS IS A KILLER! Baruch/CUNY system is low on budget and they are using Calculus class to fail people and take away financial aid. 65% of student at Baruch dont get higher than C+ at calculus.

Toshtemirov, thanks for your input, it did really help me lean towards staying at Baruch.

Yes but this way you are spamming the forum.

ok, WONT HAPPEN AGAIN

Yeah I know that you can’t minor nor double major in business. Yet, you can still do minor in economics or business law if you are interested. By your name I understand that you are Russian, and if you finished a high school outside of US, then you don’t need to take a foreign language. I waived it myself. And by the way, minor is not really important unless it is in computer science, math, etc. Надеюсь я помог.

Toshtemirov, yes I am Russian. I guess you are too? =)

I was in high school here in New York. Took two semesters of Russian in High School. But if I am nost mistaken Baruch requires two years, not two semesters of foreign language.

Thank you so much for your help!!!
