Any info, thoughts, etc?

Pretty sure it's a college focused on business. I believe its a moderately good school

Yes, one can get a good education at Baruch, just like at any other college. And you can still go on to a good graduate program when you finish. Barcuch college grad, received masters from Cornell and NYU

Baruch is a great way to get a business education, and you can do it inexpensively in NYC, which offers great internship opportunities. I have some friends that are there right now.

Ditto, to Bigjake's comments. Contrary , to the thoughts of many posters, a Baruch college education is very respected in NYC.

My mother teaches there. It's pretty decent (top 50 UG business program). If you have good stats, you HAVE to apply to the honors program, coz you'll get better courses, a better degree, and it's free (plus they give you $7000 and a free laptop).

You may have missed the honors program deadline.

I think the average honors program acceptee has 1290 and 93% average

Baruch has always been good and its reputation is on the way up with admissions competition getting steeper--recently built a beautiful new theater-perfoming arts building too. Probably connects you better to jobs in New York rather than elsewhere.
