Essays- I wrote about the song “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and how it has helped me to carry on throughout my trials and tribulations.
Recommendations- Should be good to very good. I chose two very articulate teachers who care a lot about me.

Tyler - did you contact the baseball coach at Bowdoin?? Based on your baseball credentials, you look as though you might qualify for a coach's "tip," which greatly improves your chances for admissions. Also are you planning to apply early decision (that's where most of the coaches' tips get used)??

Tyler - I see you have posted the same question for Bates and Amherst. All NESCAC's follow similar practices with respect to tipping athletes and essentially require that you go through the early decision process to be tipped. The early decision deadline is fast approaching so you should probably try to reach coaches at the schools that interest you in the next few days. The fact that you are all-state in baseball probably makes you tip worthy at all three schools but you probably need to pick a favorite in the next few days. BTW, baseball is more of a priority at Bowdoin and Amherst than at Bates.
