Based on my stats, which school would fit me?

<p>Hello, instead of chancing, I want to hear what schools you guys would recommend for me!</p>

<p>Weighted GPA:
3.96</p>

<p>SAT scores:
470 Reading
630 Math
460 Writing</p>

<p>SAT Subjects:
550 Mathematics Level 2
580 U.S. History</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
JV Football ( 1 year )
Varsity Track and Field ( 2 years-- CAPTAIN)
Video Production Club ( 2 years )
ASB ( 1 year )
100+ Hours of Community Service
Part time job</p>

<p>Background:
Asian
Will be first generation attending college
Lives in San Diego</p>

<p>Classes:
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Government
AP US History
AP Language
Rest= Honor classes
Top 10% in my graduating class.</p>

<p>College Major:
99% Sure it will be Business/Economics (I want to do Hospitality Management)</p>

<p>College Preference:
Has to be in California</p>

<p>My preferred colleges:
I really want to attend Cal Poly SLO or UCSB. However, my SAT scores are really low and I'm not sure if my chances are high. If you want, can you chance me for Cal Poly SLO or UCSB?</p>

<p>hikevinn, Both schools would be reaches given your SAT scores. Why don’t you apply to some other CSU’s, other than CAl Poly SLO? If that doesn’t work out, attend a CA community college for 2 years. This is a good route to take as well. Good luck.</p>

<p>I would go to SDSU cause it has a good Business Program but I already lived in San Diego for my whole life so it wouldn’t fit me.</p>

<p>I might plan to retake my SAT for UC’s.</p>

<p>Also, should I try applying to UCSC?</p>
