Hi, people. I'm applying for the schools Exeter, Andover, Deerfield, Lawrenceville, Taft, and Brooks. These are the percentile scores of my two SSAT tests. (I'm also applying for FA)
November
Verbal: 80%
Math: 67%
Reading: 95%
Total: 85%

December
Verbal: 95%
Math: 88%
Reading: 69%
Total: 91%
Based on this, what schools do you think I'd have a chance with?

I think you have a chance, but then again everyone does…the schools will receive your highest score and a 91% is great. Now you should focus on your essay’s and short answer questions…and remember SSAT’s are not everything :)

A7X is right. Everybody has chance and to tell you that you do or you don’t won’t really help you unless you have histrionics.
[Histrionic personality disorder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Histrionic personality disorder - Wikipedia)

I guess thats where the phrase ‘Stop the histrionics’ comes from. People prefer to be praised rather than corrected. My SSAT essay
and it’s true

Well you don’t have to have histrionics to be curious… and does anyone know what the schools are going to do with my reading scores? I got a dramatic drop on the second test.

They will probaby think you missbubbled and could have done better. But you can stop the school from seeing your first test if you didn’t sign up to give your test to a school in the begining. Since you took them both this year the school will most likely see the better one.

Send both sets of scores. Most schools will automatically superscore and you will have a combined percentile in the upper 90s. 95 V + 88 M + 95 R is probably around 98. Congrats! Those are great scores and that part of the application is behind you. Once they see those, they probably won’t even think about your ssat score anymore and they’ll move on to the rest of your application.

BobTheCow, I like your name.

Haha BobTheCow decided to play on the name TomTheCat…How original of you;)

I did not! It’s just that great minds think alike. Isn’t that right TomTheCat?

haha yea right
SSRM

Maybe I should become SuetheDog or PatriciatheCapybara or RacheltheRaven or …the possibilities are endless.

me i would be…well i dont want to give it away i will pm urbanflop

From what I understand they recieve your highest, math, verbal, and reading scores, which for you would be 95%, 88%, 95%, correct me if i’m wrong though

The posts behind andoverexeter are sort of off topic… Also, if any more information is needed for an overall assumption of my chances, you can look back on my 1st post on CC.

Wow I only posted 16 comments overall in CC… Well 17 now I guess… OK off topic!!
