Basic Transfer Questions

Hello,
I'm pretty new to the US college application system so I had a few questions I hope you guys might be able to answer.
(I know that the application process is different for each school but many of them are similar)

In general, the application asks for:

Common Application and the "insert school name" supplement
Official secondary school transcript
Official college transcript
Two letters of recommendation from college professors
SAT or ACT scores
A secondary school report (filled out by high school counselor)
College Official's Report (Dean's rec)
Mid-term report

How do we submit some of these requirements?
From what I've seen on different college websites, SAT/ACT scores, the Common Application, and the supplement to the common app are all submitted online.
However, for the rest of these documents I'm not entirely sure.

Which documents must be mailed and can we mail them ourselves?
For some of the documents (prof recs, transcripts, School reports) universities ask that they be sent by a counselor, or professor. Should you request that the documents be sent directly to the university or is it better to collect all of the necessary documents yourself and then send them together in one package (obviously in separate unopened envelopes)? Is it fine if the high school transcripts are signed and addressed to you, and you send them instead of the school?
I wouldn't imagine that college's want six or seven letters coming in separately for each student.

How do you submit documents online?
If sending the documents online is acceptable, how should we upload them? Should we scan them and submit them? Is there a way for your professor to send your rec letters online? Is there a way for the Dean to fill out an official college report online? Would you still need to send your high school transcripts via mail?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before; any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

It doesn’t matter if the schools/profs send things individually or if you collect them all and send them together, as long as all pieces make it to their destination, you’re fine. Just be sure that if you send things in, that they’re ‘official’, meaning in a sealed, signed over the flap, envelope.

Transfer apps are different from fr, you cannot upload prof LORs, HS report, and transcripts. Snail mail for all of these.
