EDIT: I'm a local student in Broome County. Bing is so competitive these days, do you guys suggest anything that I should do to get in?

EDIT 2:
Since I'm a state student, and took the regents, my regents scores are:

Living Environment: 92
Algebra: 98
Spanish Proficiency: 96
Earth Science: 95
Geometry: 94
Spanish: 96
Algebra II: 96
Global History: 100
Chemistry: 83(June 2010) 84(January 2011)

regents dont matter. get your sat up to a 2000 and ur def in

Don’t send the ACT, just boost the SAT. And you might want to retake the SAT IIs, or else just don’t send the scores; Bing doesn’t require them

Between the top 10%, A+ gpa, and extracurriculars, you should be fine except for that SAT… were you planning on retaking? Try to get it to the mid/high 1900s and you’ll be good.

Whatever you do, don’t send that ACT!

Thanks guys! So it looks like I need to work on my SAT score. I’m gonna go all out this summer. I’m retaking it on Saturday, but I’ve studied one bit. I will retake the SAT’s in the fall :)

In for sure, I’d re-take the SAT just once to be safe.

First off, do yourself a huge favor and don’t send the ACT or the Chem SAT II…

Your SAT score is on the low side. Otherwise, you are in good shape. Chances are, you will get in with these stats, but I wouldn’t blame you if you re-took the SAT just to seal the deal.

See you in a little over a year! :)

I got waitlisted and then accepted with a 3.37 UW and a 1960 SAT / 31 ACT, so they clearly value the standardized tests. Be sure you retake the SATs.

^they very strongly value standardized tests. I had a mediocre average and subpar extracurriculars but I got in because i got a 33 on the ACT
