Basically, I hate college.

@52677747 - NOW it’s good advice… see how easy that was? I really hate people who come on and just basically go “pfft, grow up loser” because it doesn’t add anything to the discussion, it just makes you look like a jerk. Just saying “grow up/get over it” isn’t giving him advice see? It’s just a buzzword. A really hateful buzzword.

I"m a senior at Yale, and we have a great combination of intellectual atmosphere and laid-back good times. One night my friends and I will be sitting around talking about politics or philosophy, and the next, we’ll be out drinking and dancing at a bar. Colleges like this exist, you just need to find them…I’d say that most of the Ivies are like that, actually, and some other places too, like Oberlin, Berkeley, Stanford, etc.

Hit the blunt one time and see if it dont make you feel better.

oh aren’t people all disturbed.
I am going to transfer, I guess what I meant to ask in my rambling way was if there were any schools in particular worth transferring to?
I don’t hang out with those kids, but since I live with them, and my roommate hangs out with them, it’s hard not to be around them.

And yeah, I am smarter than a few people, and I party harder than a few. Obviously there are kids smarter than me - I’m pretty sure the Indonesian math majors a floor down could kick my ass, and there are people out there who can actually drink beer without passing out (at least, not 2 into the night), and those who can drink kegs and not pass out (I am not one of them).

Oh, and I go to a CC, but live in a private dorm that mostly serves a big southern public university.

And I’m not usually the type to brag. I’m actually self-deprecating in life, but I felt the need to accentuate how I’m actually comparatively prepared for college, but I still want to drop out.

In other good news, I’ve decided to transfer to University of Hawaii for Geology, so hopefully things will get better.

Hate to break it to you man, but I have a lot of friends at U of Hawaii and I don’t think you’re going to find much of an intellectual atmosphere there, either.
