Ahh both look so fun! I'm new to both..
What do you guys think?

I think Squash would be the better choice.

Squash is more fun IMO.

BASKETBALL! Though I may be biased because I play squash, lol :D

Both! They’re both fun.

I personally would have picked (I play) basketball because it seems so much more fun than squash. But on a completely different level.

Basketball: Gain some popularity
Squash: Because I’m guessing it’s not as popular as basketball, stand a better chance at being a captain and standing out to colleges for playing a rarer sport.

Basketball

you stated in one of your own threads that you disliked it when others commented on your threads without being helpful or making sense in any way. … so how does your reply help the OP in any way?

Back on topic. I’ve never tried squash before, but why don’t you try both out and then make your own judgment on which one you enjoy more?

:]

If you’re more into a team sport, do basketball. If you like the prospect of individual improvement, with the added bonus of having a team (assuming you’re talking about a school team), do squash. I just joined the squash team at my school and it was the best decision I’ve made here so far.

If you’re talking about doing squash on your own, rather than as part of a school team, I still recommend it. You can easily find tournaments all over the place, especially if you live near a big city.

LOL, i cant edit my original post but i meant to say that I may be biased because i play BASKETBALL not squash, lol

Chose squash and I absolutely love it. Glad I didn’t play basketball because there are 26 kids on the team this year. Anyway, I’m on track to becoming captain senior year as there are only 3 freshmen! The only downside is that we practice at 6am
Otherwise, I LOVE IT!

What is squash…

@mzenquis
I don’t really see how that really helps either of you to post such a negative comment though. Or how it justifies your being unhelpful in return.

Sorry, it’s difficult to mind my own business when people are being hypocritical. :]

Have a nice day.

good to hear that you’ve chose a sport you’re happy with :] and my apologies for straying from the original topic of this thread.
