Bat PSAT Score Good SAT Score: Do I still have chance for Ivy League

Hello,

I would like to know if I am capable of getting into a top college.

Last October, I scored only a 203 on PSAT (I don’t know how, I averaged at least 2150 on practice tests back then). However, in December, I got 2250 on real SAT and will retake. (This is the biggest comeback I know of at my school.)

I also got 780 in both Math 2 and US History back in June of 10th grade.

I am also one of the top students in my school by GPA, but my PSAT really brought me down reputation wise.

The PSAT reading was hard as hell (550) and writing was harshly curved (-2 = 720). However, maybe the essay (12) helped me and I got 690 reading.

Colleges do not see your PSAT at all.

No just give up

Obviously they don’t look at PSAT if you scored well on SAT.

Regardless of how good or bad you scored on the PSAT, they don’t see it at all.

Colleges don’t care about your PSAT score. The only thing that is important for is National Merit, but that wouldn’t have done you much good anyway at Ivies.

PSAT scores do not even show up to colleges. Plus if you think about it, even if they did it would be stupid. Most people take the PSAT sophomore and junior year and I guarantee at least 50% of the time, people have not studied for that or the SAT. It’s just an indicator on how well you might do on the SAT. Plus, look at your SAT score it’s great. You will be fine, don’t worry about it. Best of luck!
