So I'm applying to Bates College in Maine and I have an interview scheduled for next Tuesday.

Here are my stats:

GPA: 92.9 Unweighted 95.6 Weighted
SAT: 570CR/690M/640W (NO SAT SCORES REQUIRED)
Top 15% of Student Body
E/Cs: Solid List, lots of community service, Vice President of community service club, director of a soup kitchen program for my school, National Honors Society, Yearbook, a bunch of Honor's Orginizations, etc.
I received my first quarter grade for High School and pulled a 100.74 average.
I wrote what I would consider a good essay, supplement, etc.
I also have a genuine urge to attend Bates; I feel it's perfect for me and made that clear through my supplements (and will through interview).

Assuming I will not send my SAT scores (my true weakness) what are my chances at getting in?

Can I expect to receive decent financial aid?

According to Princeton Review 62% of freshman are in top 10% of their HS class at Bates so you are not a slam dunk. Need some compelling ecs or awards to push you over the edge. Bowdoin and Holy Cross are also SAT optional but have even higher % in the top ten percent of high school class.

Your CR is a little low, but those scores are not bad. You should wear a polo and dress slacks or shirt, tie, and dress slacks. The main thing is to make it clear that you are VERY interested in attending. Every school loves to accept applicants that they are sure or nearly sure will actually attend. They also love it if you feel that it's a good fit, so you are on the right track there.

Can't speak to admission chances, vbut regarding what to ear: tie not necessary in my opinion--just khaki pants or corduroys if you have them and either a nice polo shirt or a nice button down shirt. Loafers or other casual butpresentable leather shoes if you have them; decent sneakers if you do not. they will look okay with khakis but not with cords.
