I applied to Bates College under the Regular Decision plan. Does anyone know approximately when we would hear back? I know everyone hears something by April 1st, but do decisions go out early/mid March?
Thanks!

Last week in march.

Thanks!

Decisions will be available on March 22nd at 8am!

@LrockinLDN I got an email saying the decisions will be released at noon on March 22nd

@upapilot I got that email, too. It did say “by” noon on March 22nd. I think they do that to cover their backs. On the Bates Admissions Twitter page, it does say 8am. Regardless, we’ll be hearing tomorrow around morning/midday EST. ■■■■.

•Where else you have applied and/or have been accepted/rejected: Accepted to Hobart and William Smith on a scholarship, Just waitlisted at Middlebury and Bates. Waiting on: Vassar, Williams, Amherst, Colgate, Bucknell, Lafayette, Skidmore

General comments/advice/hindsight: I’m putting this down for all of you who didn’t really know much about college admissions and stressed yourselves out over this all year. I think that ECs speak far more to an admissions officer than numbers, but of course I was only waitlisted. Good luck, and Congrats to all those who were accepted. I really wanted Bowdoin and Midd, but now I’m holding out hope for Vassar.

Accepted!

I only submitted my Spanish 800 (but SATs were 1890…ouch.)
