Bathrobes 4 Guys?

With coed dorms bathrooms etc., do guys wears robes? sShould I pack one for my S even though, he doesn't use one now. If I ask him, I'm sure he'll say its not necessary, becuz that's what he said about flipflops for the shower & we all know about dorm showers.

It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Not everyone wears the same thing roaming up and down the hallways. Guys may wear jogging or baggy shorts, a large (beach size) bath towel or a bathrobe. Don't forget lysol or other appropriate disenfectant.

Don't pack it in the suitcase.......pack it for mailing on the slow boat so that it will arrive after he has needed it a few times.......sooooo much more appreciated.

I think that he normally doesn't use one, he probably won't need it.

i concur…robes for guys is one of those want to have rather than a must have like slippers

I'm a guy and I don't normally use a bathrobe at home. But then, when I lived in the dorms at UCLA (when I was a rising senior in high school), I found that a bathrobe (preferably cotton) was nice because you really can't get yourself dry in that small rectangle space. And sometimes, there is not a room to hang your clothes (and you don't really want to lay anything on the floor) so wearing a bathrobe simplifies thing. And especially if you're new to people, I'm shy about strutting about in just a towel like I do at home.

I wore boxers and held my towel in my hand when walking from my room to the shower

i got a huge bathrobe....so it looks like im the king of the hallway......^_^

Dude i play football and im not skinny at all, I am 340 lbs and I am pretty fat, but id say most of it is muscle.

so yeah i have a stomach and dont have abs.

But i walk around with no shirt on all the time.

I just wear a pair of shorts,

lol Sean11, that's what I would do

Eh, no need for a robe. A towel around his waist will work just as well (not to mention be more attractive) after he showers.

lol I'm not sure the towel=more attractive thing works for everyone.

I think bathrobes are useful and the bathrooms aren't that large as has already been mentioned and the bathrobe is nice to have. I don't think the walking around the hall is that difficult in a towel but the bathrobe is easy, warm and also it depends on how many folks are sharing a bathroom. On my hall it has varied and sometimes there are fewer men to share so it is not so bad but if it is lots of guys........so easy to hang out and wait in a bathrobe and it makes departing faster and easier.

I almost thought you meant something else by "so easy to hang out" >.<

Haha, I forgot that towels aren't ALWAYS more attractive- thanks for pointing that out, Zante :-P.

I prefer towels mostly. On guys I mean. He'll find out soon enough which way he prefers it though.
