Bathrooms at Cornell...

How are the bathrooms set up?

Do they have one main one for the floor or for individual swuites or rooms?

no ameechee. it's cornell = bathroomS
lol

Yeah, I fixed it

dude you guys need to get a life.
bathrooms = cornell !!!!!
how about the rest 99% of the world population who couldn't go to top universities would kill to get into any university like Cornell.

umm... what are you talking about munited?

i thought it was kind of obvious

please elaborate for me then? i dont understand how that was relevant

? (how is this thread relevant to anything) at all (i.e. your post :
no ameechee. it's cornell = bathroomS
lol )

Heaven forbid people were to make sarcastic comments on a mistakenly-titled thread.

yeah, lets cool it
:o

So is anyone gonna answer my question or we going to waste more time arguing about the sarcastic comment of "Cornell = Fecal Collector"?

umm...I think it depends on which type of building you have. Large residential halls = communal bathrooms. I think townhouses have like a shared bathroom. (to tell you the truth i really dont know, but this is the way it is at almost every college)

Dickson (which includes MCLLU) has a pretty high person to bathroom ratio. At Mews/Court it's pretty low - 5 people to a bathroom I think. I was hosted at the Latino Living Center and my hosts shared one bathroom between the three of them, which must be pretty nice. That's the lowest bathroom ratio I know of. I don't know the bathroom situations in the low rises (which include Ujamaa and JAM), the high rises, Balch (but apparently everyone has a private sink), the townhouses, Akweko, Risley, Donlon, or any of the other dorms I forgot to mention.

bathrooms in the ag quad are hilarious...try reading some of the **** written on the stalls ooooooooooooh man

ewww.
i am used to not only my own bathroom and toilet, but also living room, kitchen, tv, etc...
i quess it's pointless to ask if the rooms have a stove...???

No stove, but i think each floor of ever dorm has some kind of kitchenette area. If you're really pining for a stove, the Townhouses might be good for you. One kitchen between 4 people.

That's it. I'm going off campus.

Well, despite the ratio, is it in communal bathroom or does a certain suite of 6 or 5 guys get 1 bathroom?

I'm more concerned about whether or not it is communal or not. I don't think I can handle crapping in a "public" toilet....EEK

I lived in Donlon freshman year and there were a ****load (no pun intended) of guys per bathroom. I typically didn't have a problem with the stalls or showers being full but by the end of the day the bathrooms were pretty gross. There were "unknown" liquids everywhere. Toilet paper strewn about. Someone dumped a bag of chips on the floor and everyone else proceeded to crunch all over them. Luckily, they're cleaned every day.

Sophomore year living on West was better. Generally around 6 guys per bathroom. The bathroom was typically spotless.

For anyone from California:
NY state bathrooms do not have toilet seat covers.

At least the ones in Syracuse, Ithaca, and Cornell Campus (including dorms) do not.

I'm bringing my own from Cali, where everything has toilet seat covers, even if there aren't any toilets around :)
