22/23 writers for "the Simpsons" went to Harvard so there are periodic pot shots at almost all the other ivy league schools.

MY personal favorites:

Lisa is about to fail 2nd grade gym, and in her dream the president of Harvard shows up in her classroom and says, "Nasty buisiness, that F - Naturally, Harvard's doors are now closed to you, but I'll be sure to forward your application to ::can't contain his laughter:: Brown." Then it cuts to outside the window where the pothead bus driver Otto says, "great school, Brown - I almost got tenure there"

(During a bartending contest) Duffman: This next event qualifies for course credit at Dartmouth college - TRICK POURING!!

One of the episodes is set on campus designed after cornell - the gates say something about being unable to aquire a latin motto and the "if you're reading this - you're accepted".

The only places I can think of UMich being in the movies are one of the American pie kids is going there, and in the argument in the bar between the olds guys in good will hunting.

When Harry Met Sally, they go to University of Boston. or Chicago

It was University of Chicago :) . They also mentioned Northwestern in that one.

Woody Allen Movies: Brown in Manhattan Murder Mystery, Columbia, Brandeis in Hannah and her Sisters. MIT in Manhattan.
A couple others mentioned in Annie Hall, but I forget which ones...

Scarlett Johansson plays a Yale grad (philosophy major) in Lost in Translation.

"Doesnt Donnie Darko's sister get into Harvard?"

Again, a USC filmed.... film.

10 things i hate about you...Kat gets accepted to Sarah Lawerence College

Agent Starling in "the silence of the lambs" is a UVA grad. She mentions it several times in the movie, at one point saying:

"I went to UVA, its not exactly a charm school."

Can't Hardly Wait: main character's first choice school is Dartmouth

She's All That: Freddie Prince Jr. is being pressured by his rich waspy father to attend Dartmouth, the school he went to for undergrad.

Gilmore Girls, that girl goes to Yale and ditches and dies and is a useless student

ummm she does ditch, but she doesnt die! and shes not useless. that show is amazingly good.

all the ivy league references in the simpsons:
http://www.snpp.com/guides/ivy.html

btw the writers of harold and kumar were both wharton grads, that's why they poke fun all the ivy league and ibanking stereotypes.

Best line in harold and kumar:
(they're running through princeton and kumar is stopped by someone)
-Hey have you seen an asian guy?
K: Only every time I open my eyes!
