<p>The winner is in the running for a $7,500 award. It isn’t guaranteed.</p>
<p>I know that. I meant the winner of the scholarship. Is the scholarship max $7500 per year or minimum $7500 per year.</p>
<p>The B & L is 7500 per year. However, should you be chosen as a B & L scholarship recipient, there is a possibility of more aid.</p>
<p>For example, D has a National Merit scholarship from UR. It isn’t for a lot of money, but it opened the door for a larger Rush Rhees scholarship.</p>
<p>There are now multiple amounts for the Bausch and Lomb Scholarship. In the past, a student would be awarded the highest scholarship possible, so a Bausch and Lomb Award recipient might have been given a different scholarship of a higher amount. This year, we are awarding the Bausch and Lomb Scholarship in varying amounts so that a highly qualified recipient of the award can still recieve the Bausch and Lomb Scholarship at a higher amount (as opposed to entirely different scholarship).</p>
